Why I’m Running
With Trump’s attacks on California and a broken political system dominated by career politicians and special interests and rigged against the working class, people are hurting and new voices are needed.
I’m not a politician. I’m a dad, a husband, a businessman, an activist, and the son of a pastor who taught me that faith without action is meaningless.
I’ll bring a fresh, strong voice to the Lt. Governor’s office to fight back against the Trump administration, take on the rigged system with commonsense solutions, and ensure every Californian has the opportunity to chase their dreams, can afford to make a living here, and feels safe.
We can’t keep doing the same old thing. It hasn’t worked.
The Lt. Governor’s office has influence on the economy, the environment, education, and even the legislature. I plan to use this office to fight back against Trump in non-traditional ways and to make California affordable and safe.
The other candidates are career politicians focused on using this office to climb the political ladder. I’m only focused on giving the working class in California their own ladder to climb.
It’s time for a different approach and I’m the only candidate in this race who will bring the change we need.
